@@rockstarrb07 Watch the video again, Thompson goes to grab the other player AFTER the shot, grabs his jersey, and keeps ahold of the jersey until half court. This started close to the baseline. Very much an intentional foul by Thompson. The other player was trying to get down court with the play, but Thompson wouldn't let go, that's finally when the other player had enough (especially because the refs did absolutely nothing about it) and then grabbed Thompson jersey in a grabbing, shoving match. Draymond had no dog in this hunt and should have stayed out of it instead of putting someone in a choke hold...and yes, it's a chokehold. If the po-po would have done that, BLM would have gotten involved, cities would be burned down, etc.

Calling it a headlock is minimizing the action. A chokehold allows you to control another person with the threat you’ll put them unconscious. To me this is equal or more serious than punches thrown. Most players don’t throw effective punches but it’s easy to even accidentally apply more pressure than intended and cause serious harm. 5 games is light.

First, want to preface by saying Rudy did not put Klay in a headlock, so he didn't deserve to be put in a headlock. However, they didn't show the angle looking up towards the Warriors basket in this video. In a different video with that angle, it actually did look like Rudy had Klay in a headlock and guess who had that same view...Draymond. These announcers are so biased. Gobert didn’t have Klay in a headlock. He was just grabbing Klay’s chest and trying to pull him off his teammate. Draymond escalated the situation from 7 to 100.

It's easy to get someone in a headlock when creeping up from behind and they don't see you coming. I wished Draymond Green would've had that same energy for Isaiah Stewart of the Detroit Pistons when they got into it. But Draymond chilled quickly when Stewart almost snatched him out of his jersey. Then Stewart almost followed Draymond off the court after Draymond was ejected as if to mock him.😂😂
