Now, this is fucking journalism. I haven't seen someone skewered like this is years. I'm so used to MSM "journalists" feeding softball questions, that I forgot this was actually possible. This is literally going to be used as evidence to convict this guy. Congratulations, dude. Just joined your Patreon -- what you're doing is insanely important.
@Alex CZ Why, is this a privileged conversation? It's a conversation between a public figure and a journalist in a public space. So how do you figure it's inadmissible?
@Mayor of Hueco Mundo yeah he totally didn’t incriminate himself once during all of these live QA’s he did, and none of it was due to coffeezillas questions. You’re right.
This is so painful listening to SBF. He is EXACTLY what a lying teenager sounds like when they know he has been caught. How little he says he knows and "um" and "like" and "uh" is absurd. He is going to get destroyed by a prosecutor on the stand.
It’s embarrassing to think anyone trusted him with money. Hearing SBF use terminology like “doesn’t align with my beliefs” or phrases like “my truth” and straight up playing dumb is just surreal.
Lol I love the idea of SBF trying to run from coffeezilla and then Coffee just showing up in every interview continuing the same line of questioning. I bet if anyone is dumb enough to try and bribe you off it would be this guy.
He is absolutely excruciating to listen to. I cannot imagine anyone who is over 18 could not see beyond this conman! My 10 year old grandson knows more about risk management than Sam
lol, look up the compilations of Justin Trudeau "um's". apparently the ability to basically communicate isn't important in national leaders or business
@COLORADO SKYWATCH I believe uhm he isn't a conman. He knows so much about uhm investing. Like Elizabeth uhm... people think they're dis uhm deceitful but they're not. They're young and uhm make mistakes. Uhm, yea.
Uhm, I am a lying uhm, cheating, uhm literal uhm piece of crap. I uhm did be generous uhm and buy my parents uhm like $500 million in properties so uhm, I am sick of uhm being uhm looked at as a crook.
Sam is woefully unprepared to be interviewed by anyone with the foggiest idea of how any of this works, let alone someone who knows the ins and outs of exactly how it works lol. well done, as usual.
@Jabelar If he had good lawyers he wouldn't be giving any interviews. He's a egomaniac who thinks he's smart enough to PR his way out of this, rather than these interviews being spliced and cherry picked so the most damning parts will be put to him in cross examination in court.
Excellent. My favourite part of the interview is where he keeps saying how overworked they were and what great jobs everyone was doing, just not enough. You would think they were doing heart surgeries or inventing a cancer drug or saving people from wildfires, and just could not save everyone.
@BackForwardPunch its hard work transferring a billion dollars secretly into other accounts so nobody notices, you gotta play stupid at the same time in front of everyone.
@CtrlAultDel NO competent attorney would be coaching up a client in public AMAs - that's such a huge risk(of THIS happening) compared to the small benefit(they already know how to coach up clients without exposing them like this) This is the definition of what your attorney tells you NOT to do
It's a common trait with narcissistic individuals or serial killers. They believe that the rest of us are dumb and they can talk themselves out of any trouble.
@P Stewart The fact that he was doing social media AMAs and such during this team is a lot of evidence of that I think - talk about small upside, large risk, how foolish could you be?
I absolutely love that you followed up with a interview the next day after he try to weasel his way out of that first one. That is phenomenal. You have gained another subscriber sir. Keep up the great work😊
Man it’s amazing how clueless and “didn’t know” he is now…. You can hear him just lying threw his teeth on every question. Once again coffee your doing some amazing work, and keeping us all entertained at the same time
The fact he raised enough money to make tens of billions while playing League of Legends in front of Sequoia, the supposed top VCs on Earth, is unreal.
You are a very intelligent person, who can grasp larger concepts & analyze the details VERSUS a talking head. Keep it up. Damned good research on your part versus vague.
I don't think I've heard more "ums" and "likes" from someone before. Especially when they are saying they didn't commit fraud and they didn't know everything going on with the company that he was a founder and CEO of!! He definitely is holding back in hopes he doesn't catch a fraud case, which I think will happen....or at least I hope he catches a fraud case and has to clearly explain everything.
This is absolutely hilarious! Coffee joins a space where he did videos on half the profiles and keeps getting allowed in Twitter spaces surprising SBF. Uve earned many many ppls respect coffee! Much props on how far uve come!
@Bulk VanderHuge LOL...another democrat idiot...hope you are enjoying your lame ass FJB president...in fact, I hope you feel the full force of the depression that is coming, and end up on the streets of SF with the other democrat voters
@Kwan Chan What a lame WHATABOUTISM. Hey, tell me which party just got in power in the House of Representatives and IMMEDIATELY GUTTED THE ETHICS COMMITTEE?
Insanely great interview. This is excellent and I would love more of this. But then again, nobody worth the effort would be willing accept to be interviewed by this guy lol
I can hear the gears grinding in his head as he tries to support his fantasy. SBF sounds like i do when i was spinning a web of lies to my parents but knowing that they knew i was lying. When you tell the truth there are no pregnant pauses
It quickly dawns on him that Coffee: 1. Has information on his company no one else does 2. Doesn’t lose track of the line of questioning 3. Understands finance and crypto And he completely loses his command, which he’s not used to and makes him extraordinarily uncomfortable
Biggest thing they can not handle is people who follow a line of logic or questioning that is part of the undergirding of the whoooole matrix we live in rn.
He's monotone in his delivery, which gives away that he's lying. If he were telling the truth, there would be more emotion; frustrated at people not believing him. He's so calm as he lies, without a care if he's believed. That's such a tell.
New subscriber! Love your work, and the stories you go after to find truth! Keep up the amazing work! Very happy I found your channel! Looking forward to watching more of your work!
This is my first time listening, great job, what's totally nested up is the fact that all the advertisers assigned I assume by youtube look and sound like scamers! I understand that you can't bite the hand that feeds you but WOW youtube have a sick sence of humor!
I feel like if he didn't perform perform interview with a really accusational tone and use words like steal and lie that he could've gotten more out of SBF and stuff that seemed more truthful
Accidentally? You tried to make this happen and succeeded so please don't claim it was an accident. Good job on dealing with SBF. Now let's hope he lives long enough to stand trial and doesn't get some sweetheart deal to prevent him from taking down all the other corrupt scumbags who benefited from his fraud.
As someone 100% subjective on this event, this is hilarious. I saw a video of his girlfriend being interviewed about her investing style. OMG! Comedy gold!
It seemed to me the interviewed was you. You had things to tell him. Not just questions but you wanted to expose your argument. This could be done without SBF.
This was a masterclass to watch. I absolutely loved how much you brought to that interview... you had him on the edge of his seat the entire time and you asked literally all the important questions, and did it with professionalism and class. Great job, Coffeezilla.. absolutely killed it.
As usual, 95% of the way there. Towards the end what coffeezilla missed is the point that regulatory officer's job is to get licensing from the regulators, not internal auditing and fraud prevention. That should be under CFO/Accounting/auditing.
@Trevor Putbrese the media is so weak... They'll get denied if they actually bust b@lls. Only independent media can cover the truth... But I know you understand that. So many people are waking up to the corruption, the insiders club...
@Professionally Correct umm, well I feel you are describing "important" as ahh, a different question umm..... (Sam has to go, he has run out of time) yeah I have to get back to you on that one, I'm uhh not sure on your specific wording and I can't speak on it without research...
I cant even listen to SBF. I didnt lose a penny over this but just hearing his voice trying to rationalize what he did and spout total lies is just sickening.
That guy is a nerd and embarrassed so many, and made them lose so much. Imagine that guy in jail. He deserves whatever happens to him. Hopefully one of the affected will SPEAK to him. .
@Cincy32 Let me see here. If he was a MAGA Republican/significantly more right leaning, but conducted this same exact interview, would you view him more positively in terms of his journalistic prowess? If the answer is yes, you're thinking too much in terms of political tribalism. SBF's political ties to Democrats is only part of this story.
@Cincy32 We might be able to compare this quantitatively. How many hardball questions did the NYT ask him? How many hardball questions did Coffeezilla ask him? I don't have a dog in this race, but perhaps this kind of comparison should be the starting point. Of course there could also be some debate on what counts as a hardball question, that's legitimate too.
@Cincy32 NYT did not press him even close to this card get real. Thank God he pointed out how ridiculous this whole stub account nonsense is didn’t see NYT do that either
@Coffeezilla great work. He is pretending to not knowing things, either way he has to go to jail. Because more people need to see what can happen when you decide to play rich guru with peoples money.
The craziest thing is that Coffee is somehow able to convince all of these crypto scammers to do an interview in the face of having charges pressed on them and directly after they commit a crime. Coffee must have some real skills! He definitely makes these things a lot more interesting to follow and I appreciate your work man
Just look at these people, they are disgustingly naive. He mustn't have lawyers, or has to be ignoring their advice, which at this point would be "STFU after STFU followed by STFU while making sure you STFU". Unless he's consciously doing the Trump defence of spouting such epic volumes of contradictory word salad and so completely destroying his own credibility you just can't put any trust in anything he ever said.
It's been this way. It accelerated in 2017 when the mainstream media, despite their best efforts, couldn't take down Pewdiepie. They panic bought and invested in struggling left wing news blogs (ie: Buzzfeed News, Vice News, Vox, Mic, Huffington Post, etc...) Starting towards the end of 2017, the mainstream media took on many of the principles of the blog sites they bailed out. Agenda and fringe identity politics became more important than actual truth and unbiased investigation. If the media can't spin a story to sway the next election cycle, it gets put on the back burner. FTX is one of those things
Okay listening to SBF is honestly terrible.... I mean you can basically hear how his brain starts to think of a way out of the question instead of telling the truth because the truth is what gets this dude in jail
@Mario Mario I'd see your point, except we have examples of entire media environments that play hard and where politicians and others have to adapt. British media may be toxic in many ways, especially its print media, but they have developed a culture of brutal examination when under the public spotlight. When all interviewers play hard, especially all interviewers from reputable networks and newspapers, it leaves one no choice but to either adapt or to be silent. Silence is not as tempting an option as you may it is, obviously any lawyer thinks its golden (and it very well may be) but lots of people like to talk even when it's not in their best interest to do so. Any cursory glance at police interrogations can tell you that much, let alone SBF going around the media trying to spin a story while simultaneously sabotaging his eventual defense strategy.
@Mario Mario I’m not obsessed, but what, any pushback and you get upset? You are running interference this guy trying to defend his honor like you’re his house serf. Get over it.
this is incredible. Officially the end of msm reporting. Coffee did more journolisming in a twitter chat than the entire media has done in the last 5 years combined.
None of us had good judgement when we were young. As an older person I understand what has gone on with him, but that's why we have elders to advise us, and rules and regulations. It's a sad situation all round. BTW, why were his parents not involved at all in this kid's shenanigans?
I'm honestly stunned that he's doing these semi-private AMAs. Like he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. He's either 1.) extremely stupid and doesn't realize this is actively harming him; 2.) completely innocent and not worried about things coming out of things like this; 3.) completely delusional and thinks he can worm out of it this way to change his image
@Eter they were taking it through transdermal patches and with an MAOI inhibitor in order to get the desired effect, which was to use it as a nootropic. The funny thing is some of the side effects of the drug are obsessive compulsive sex and gambling.
Dude you conned him into providing you with content that you are now negatively scrutinizing. You are no different than he is, actually he might be innocent.
Before he knew stuff and now it is just a bunch of “I think” or “I’m assuming” about his own company 😂 yeah the play dumb or I didn’t know I was breaking laws doesn’t (and shouldn’t) shield you!
This is an incredible interview. I am shocked that SBF's attorneys have not stopped him from making these public statements. The authorities are certainly watching and are going to grill SBF with any inconsistencies.
I’m sure they prepped him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were sending him emails or IMs when he was on the call. But after the first interview went so poorly, they should have stopped the press tour. SBF is solidifying public opinion that this whole situation is the result of massive fraud.
There is no way someone can walk away with that much hidden "missing" loot and not have someone very serious come after him. Like, kidnap him and extract private keys then ... well gruesome things. How he can be so blasé is astonishing.
My kid gave more coherent answers to questions when he got in trouble than SBF. Good job Coffee, amazing that you are asking more hard hitting questions than any of the “reputable” news outlets that have interviewed him.
Before asking him specifics, you need to get him to state his principles. And agree to the punishment he should face if he’s lying. THEN begin talking about what happened.
Great job with the line of questions. SBF is playing his "I made mistakes and mistakes aren't technically illegal" cover-up role pretty well. Shame that the NYT, Wallstreet Journal, Bloomberg, O'Leary and others are playing softball with this guy.
Sam, what were you doing the whole time when sitting in front of 9 monitors and sleeping in the office? Sam: I gained 20lbs and didn’t cut my hair or tie shoe laces
He's connected and protected, he will ride off in the sunset. But hey don't forget to report transactions over $600 you made on Facebook marketplace to the IRS or you will face the fullest extent of the law! Home of the FEE land of SLAVE
Coffeezilla: Asks very specific questions. SBF:" I ... ah... eh..like..don't know...at the time... ehm...I...you know.. ehm...". Man this is so embarrassing.
@Charlieb Race, Religion, and gender mean nothing when you're being charged with a crime. Nothing antisemitic was said, and I didn't know he was Jewish before I thought he was a criminal piece of garbage.
He's doing the Tech CEO trick of any uncomfortable question levelled at him he pretends he has no knowledge and other people in the organisation were acting under their own steam.
@Cincy32 I've seen your comments on this channel before. You cry like an utter child because he isn't covering topics on Ukraine 🤡 your a clown mate. Ukraine is not something he's gonna have much influence in.
