Corridor crew is literally "the friends we made along the way"
บัญชีใหม่ Google Lord
Some stunts lost their body and death and no one cares about them, that's just a job, no nothing cool 😎😎😎
Loved the arc where Carmichael came back. Legend
With Gui as the first of the many friends.
Y'all should do "Sound Designers React!" Like: How they made the T-Rex or Godzilla roar; How they make body sounds for creatures that don't even exist; Even the subtle ways they have to add basic clothing, movement, and walking sounds into animated films. You know those punching sounds in old action movies? WHAT IS THAT?
Πριν 6 ημέρες
I third this idea! I'm really interested in sound design!
Πριν 8 ημέρες
@Andrew Murray yess and they layer it with other stuff, its so insane how creative they can get
Πριν 20 ημέρες
I wanna hear "sound designers explain the overuse of sounds that help identify common iconic items" Truck horns when the driver could not possibly be pushing the horn or wouldn't likely do so, sword scrapes even when there is a leather sheath, all birds of prey having the same call, what else? I get these are motivic sounds that help identify the items for visually impaired, or (radio style) listeners, and can help with the flow of an overload of information in action sequences, but I get annoyed lol.
This needs so many more likes.
I read somewhere once that an often-used foley was punching a cabbage.
Need more stuntwomen react! The fact brought up of less clothing, less safety is huge.
Πριν 12 ημέρες
They mentioned that on a couple of episodes.
Πριν 19 ημέρες
Cut to the dude that falls on his back from Drunken Dragon whose costume includes a pillow backpack
I just love how excited and enthusiastic she is talking about the stuff she worked on. That energy is infectious.
Πριν 25 ημέρες
@F!zZ® bruh how does she sound fake. She knows her stuff, she’s excited about it, and that’s all disregarding the fact that her literal profession is to do things that are not fake lmao. She has the exact same energy and mannerisms as most of the dudes in the corridor crew. Even more dialed back in the “childish” sense than most of them.
Πριν 25 ημέρες
@Michael J. Jackson obviously but some of the guys agree in the comment. She acts childish but even i do that when i am high.
Michael J. Jackson
Πριν 27 ημέρες
@F!zZ® You sound like you've never been proud of anything you've done...this woman is clearly vibin and enjoys what she does, bro. Seeing as you're the only comment bashing her, it's fair to assume the problem is you, not her.
She sounds fake bruh. Kinda cringe imo.
9:43 "The first time, they said the car didn't look like it was going fast enough for it to kill me, so they wanted it a second time." Props to stuntpeople doing what they do!
I think we’re just accepting that Gui is now part of the Corridor team as he never gets introduced as a guest anymore 😎
Gui is the safety man, and one of the coolest kind! Don’t forget that!🔥💥⛄️😎 Stay frosty
I mean it is "stuntwoman react" so yeah, they have just accepted him as part of the Corridor Crew.
Thought the same thing when he was in the Smash Bros tournament.
@AiCDragon it most likely explains as to why he has an eye injury as he does stunt and he does a lot of stunts for Marvel and he definitely worked on Black Panther, like the last doing stunts for multiple characters. Not hard to put things together that there is a high probability that working on set might had gotten his eye inured. USE YOUR BRAIN PLEASE, there are plenty of reports of the actors and actress being hurt on set for BP2.
@Pablo Neves I think he's half brazilian
She seems so genuine and talented and just such a nice person overall. Really happy to be shown more of the female side of the industry
I remember years and years ago watching Nerdzrl vlogs about starting her journey into stunt work, so It makes me so unbelievably hype to see her absolutely kicking ass these days!! And this episode was so so so good she's a great explainer and hilarious!!
I see Cassandra for the first time on the show and I already love it how she explains things. I hope to see more of her on Corridor Crew.
How good? Sooo good!
Πριν 29 ημέρες
I love how she smiles so much when she talks about her work, she needs to be in more episodes.
She’s awesome, you guys definitely need to have her back on the show!
Love that Gui is basically a part time cast member for this series.
Πριν 3 ημέρες
@Pabz obviously lazy eye partly no need to laugh mate
@Anti-Life Galactus How dare you Clint is 1 of 1. Gui's pretty cool though
@Pabz I was wondering the same. He was a little slurred too. I hope he didn't have a stroke or something!
Gui is a cool dude, so I have to agree.
It's so crazy to see Cassandra here because she's done so much work towards her craft. I remember subscribing to her channel when she was just a vlogger and how she would talk about her dream of being a stunt-woman and here she is accomplishing it.
When Stuntmen React came out I was flashed by how cool this is to watch. And Gui and the other guys are cool, but Stuntwomen React is even better. Please feature more women in this show. And I'd love Cassandra to return. She is amazing! 😍
Big fan of Cassandra since NerdzRL. It's really cool to see all those movies she was in! She talked about becoming a stunt woman in her vlogs for so long. It's inspiring to hear more about her successful career. ;-)
Cassandra is such a talented and awesome person so glad you guys had her on the show!!!
She seems so fun to hangout with. Her energy and laughter is contagious.
@501Dev2ILL I said mostly.
@F!zZ® but I’m black thoo
@PattyMayonnaise oh not this diversity cringe. It's mostly white dudes and Asians who are into animation.
Bruh she kinda feels cringe but that's imo.
Yeah, she's cute. Guys, nothing wrong on say a cute girl is cute.
Have you guys reviewed Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole? It came out in 2010 and I'm still mind blown at how realistic the effects are on every part of the film. Especially the owl feather physics/effects.
not sure if there are more than one but i think they did cover it briefly, specifically bear fur animation....i may be confusing it with some other similar "lion, witch, and the wardrobe"-esque movie
Πριν 23 ημέρες
I love the professional chemistry between Cassandra and Gui! Please bring them back.
She's awesome. I love how fast she figures out the main issue with the Aeon Flux shot (overlapping action).
This show is consistently amazing. Looking forward to the next episode!
Would love to see Cassandra more on the show, her energy and enthusiasm is so fun. The female stunt perspective of the stunt world seriously needs more rep, glad you guys are really bringing that out
Couldn’t have put it better. This was awesome.
Definitely, she was great. Hope she comes back again!
I vote if they put Cassandra on them I won’t skip the ads 😆 Fr it was a good episode though
Thank you so much for coming on the show Cassandra! It's so cool to hear your experience and input on the show!!! I hope you come back!
This has to be one of my favorite episodes so far Such a light vibe to it You are all such incredible professionals S2
Πριν 20 ημέρες
She's awesome, funny, very humble. Great guest again, great job guys.
This was probably the most interesting interviews you guys have ever done. She’s really really good
Gui saying "you came here for us" like he's a member of Corridor Crew makes me happy
@Ivan Obeso Yup lol
@GodBear and everyone around you looks at you all weird lol. Happened to me the other night
I find him a tad annoying that always has to say the last thing.
@f Paper Tigers on Netflix.
@GodBear I kinda want him to take up small roles as an actor/stuntman. Would be cool.
you've got one of the most fun channels on ELvids this episode is a perfect example why really glad you're here kicking so much rear on so many great subjects about film and the like so, thank you for making these videos!
Man, I used to watch Cassandra in her old vlogging days. It’s so cool and inspiring to see how far she’s come!
Please keep Gui as a regular on "stuntwomen/men react" love having him as a regular.
She's so badass! Have more stunt women on!
Cassandra has awesome energy. You have to make her a regular for Stunt* React. Maybe get her in with another one of the amazing stuntwomen you've had on the show...
Joost van Schijndel
@F!zZ® her reactions are exactly on par for most of the staff and guests.
Her reactions are cringe and childish but even I am like that when I am high.
Yeah because the other dude keeps talking over her, keeps trying to get in the last word and when nico asked for HER opinion he kept trying to answer and sometimes did answer. Trust me, once you see it you can't unsee it.
I think that it would be interesting to either add a professional wrestling section onto the Stunt People React or to have a separate series. I feel there is a lot of interesting cross over in the world of stunt work and pro wrestling. Both are about selling impact, falls, damage etc while being as safe as possible. At least a reaction to the 1998 Undertaker v Mankind Hell in a Cell stuff would be great.
Cassandra was a great guest! Glad to see more of Gui!! Was it just my imagination or was Gui ready to risk it all for Cassandra lol
Cassandra could honestly have been a great stunt double for Emilia Clarke, they're oddly similar 😅
I would love to see y'all breakdown the stunts in Everything, Everywhere, All At Once! The stunts were amazing and I heard Michelle Yeoh learned the stunts day of!
Cassandra needs to return. She has amazing stories to tell.
Thought they shot with the guests long enough to get 2 or eps from them.
Omg yes! I actually never thought about how hard it is to add padding to stunt woman costumes🤯
The Black Baron
Great stories, great energy and reactions, great tips and techniques,
This is one of the best review of stunts! Hope to see her back reviewing more!!
Great episode, love this series. Love Gui's presence and Cassandra was a great guest, hope she can come back for more episodes. Would love to see a Stuntman/woman react to Mad Max Fury Road, that movie is wild.
amazing how this is the most terrifying episode. So much respect to stuntwomen, ya'll are EXTRA intense.
Love you guys, thanks for all the invaluable analysis and fun reacts!
Please do bring Cassandra back! Great energy, super knowledgeable and fun!
Love to see more variety representation in the show in the guests, wonderful to see a stuntwoman on the sofa again! Y'all I don't know if they'd be down for it, since they have more a contortionist/aerialist background and not strictly stunt performing, but to see Ess Hödlmoser in the show would quite literally make me cry.
So awesome to see NerdzRL on here. Used to watch her daily vlogs when she was selling sandwiches and zipping around town on her scooter. So cool seeing someone actually make their dreams come true. Keep it up.
I always love watching these. I like seeing behind the scenes and breakdowns for stuff but also the energy and excitement people get while talking about it.
Having Cassandra on this episode was awesome! She has such a fun personality and contributes a lot, be sure to bring her back for future episodes if you can.
Such a lovable personality
This was really good, I’d personally love to have her back on the show.
Really like this Stuntwoman React, the last one the the poor stuntwoman couldn't get a word it, also love Cassandra Ebner's work been subbed to her channel since the og days of youtube!
Πριν 25 ημέρες
She held her confidence and didn’t let them walk all over her. She’s a badass all around.
Love the respect and compliments Cassandra and Gui had for their fellow stunt members.
Love Gui as usual, Cassandra is very cool. Hope to see her back.
I think this is the first time I've watched a full ad on purpose. I love that it is actually targeted to the audience, and you've personalized it without it sounding "corporate". Also, great episode! 😁
E11even Entertainment Studios Extra
Cassandra is amazing. I've been following her for years. Great guest choice!
The falls in that Lara Croft fan film were brutal and to take that without any kind of padding is no easy feat. Respect for her.
Please invite her more often! It was a joy to watch every second if it :)
I love how upbeat the stunt women they've brought on are. Just hearing these super buff, competent women who look like they could beat me up giggle and bounce with excitement while talking about falling through a bus or onto stone is amazing. And I love the respect they both have for her. I've worked out consistently, but had to take a break due to illness. This will definitely be my motivation to get back into it!
This might have been my favorite stunt people react yet, Gui is obviously the goat but this gal was so energetic and charming and added huge insight and fun to the episode
Cassandra is absolutely lovely. I hope she returns for another soon, she's so passionate!
Cassandra was an amazing guest! Please bring her back soon :)
Excellent. Loved the inclusion of iffy stuff too, useful to learn. Great to get more women on the show!
I've worked with Cassandra over the years in mocap, shes such a great performer and treats the set like a professional playground which makes the whole shoot fun, even for production :)
@An overly sarcastic, sleepy fox agreed
An overly sarcastic, sleepy fox
@K B yeah and it’s kinda weird
@Sadflix I see it all the time in yt comments
@K B probably because using Reddit related things outside of Reddit is kinda weird
I’m surprised no one commented “r/thatHappened”
Would love to see a breakdown of that Zoe Bell hood of the car scene from Death Proof! Better yet, have her on the show!
Oh man, what a blast from the past. I remember watching Cassandra's daily vlogs WAY back in the day, like 2011 or so and she was just starting out on the grind training to be a stunt woman and doing free lance editing for bank or something on the side. It's crazy to see how far she's come!
Great episode and guest. Love what y'all do, keep it up. Gotta say Gui is my favorite
Cassandra Was So Fun In This Episode. Great Personality. And We All Love Gui ❤️. Please Bring Cassandra Back
After watching this series for a while and seeing what stunt performers go through, I think awards shows need to introduce a stunt category.
@Errol That's a very valid point. I think it could be adjusted for the safety concern though if 'they' really want to. For example: - Have the safety of each stunt evaluated. If it is dangerous to an extent, the stunt would not qualify for the award. - Have some technical award. For example, how creative they could be with their stunt without relying too much on dangerous stuff. - Have a 'Safety award' for stunts that look very dangerous on film but actually very safe to do without VFX. - Also. another 'Safety award' for movies with a lot of number of stunts with less big injuries. With these kind of limitations, most of Jackie Chan's death defying stunts won't be qualified for award (maybe honorable mention), but some of Tom Cruise "Safer Stunts" would qualified. Of course, I think some of Cruise's stunts won't qualified. Of course this is just an idea from a non-expert point of view. Experts may have different consideration.
@Errol It is likely a valid concern. I remember seeing in early 2000's a sort of stunt awards gala show on TV. I think it was organized by WWE. The award for the best stunt went posthumously to a stunt performer who had died in a stunt. The film was xXx. Even for a viewer that left a bitter taste on the award. First, I think it would be reasonable to call it a failed stunt. And more importantly, it would be a terrible message to the industry professionals, that they have to lose their life to get the biggest recognition for their work. I don't know if they ever had another show.
@Errol I can easily see this point of view. You would need to approach it from a technicality point of view instead of a spectacle then. Kinda hard to judge though, I guess.
They say (not really sure, who "they" are) it's because of the dangerous nature of stunt work. In other words that it would promote increasingly more dangerous stunts, just to one up the other guy, while gambling with stunt persons' healths and lifes. Basically making stunt Oscars the "who can get closer to the death without crossing the line" competition.
There's been a push for Oscars to include Stunt Crew for years, still hasn't happened. Shame, they're the ones that really make movies and shows awesome. None of the physical stuff that gives moments the impact they need would be possible without them.
Πριν 3 ημέρες
I have so much respect for stunt actors. So much talent. Thanks for making our movies awesome.
James Van Langeveld
I love the stuntmen/women react videos. Thanks for making these. I have a "Visual Effects Artists Debunk..." request. Could you debunk sea monster clips, like the Kraken and Loch Ness monster?
i'm such a fan of her work. thanks for having her on.
You're awesome Cassandra! I worked with Zoë and Dayna on Xena and yes, they are fantastic people. Zoë's hilarious and super caring about the people around her. I've always felt bad for the female stunties and their lack of padding. Maybe one day costume designers will think about the female stunties? Best of luck in your career, you're killing it! Oh and Gui's cool too but we all knew that :)
Another amazing episode! It would be fantastic to see you look at the end fight-scene in Balde (1998), and discuss the wierd ballet-kicks Wesley and the stund guy does in front of each other without ever really hitting(?). As well as the blood effects and exploding bodies that look hilariously not-real but still fit the movie perfectly.
Cassandra was great. Insightful and fun personality! And I LOVE that GUI is semi-regular on the show!! 💖
I would love to see The Expanse CG! They has some amazing shots and a lot of "invisible CG" as well!
Been following Cassandra for a while now. Great to see her on the Crew Couch!
I love that Gui is being included regularly in the show. He's great and it's fun watching these videos.
@Jimmy O '-'
@Jimmy O You're the only one who thinks that. Go cry somewhere else.
He ruins it
Cassandra was amazing! Obviously one of the top level stunt performers with her skill, talent, and knowledge, but what I really loved seeing was her energy and passion for what she does! A perfect fit for the couch, her energy was so infectious, please get her back for more episodes!! (and cover some Michelle Yeoh stunts :p).
I would really love if you did some animation reacts for Laika and Melusine studio movies, just because they make lovely films that are, imo, criminally underated
Great great episode! She really knows how to explain everything!
Kieran Carmichael- neale
Honestly this was my favourite episode she is so cool would love to see her on the show again
I remember watching Cassandra Ebner on her channel NerdsRL where she would always talk about how she would love to be in stuntwork, training so hard, and getting excited having a 2 second background role with only her back showing. Watching her on this couch actually gave me chills.. Seeing someone live out their dream is just a joy.
i used to watch her too! so dope that she's become successful at what she loves
i actually saw the croft fan film years ago and I remember loving it and feeling inspired to make something because of it, so it was really awesome to be reminded of its existence, but also meet the woman behind it! Thanks to all of you and her!
What did you make because of it?
Love these Stuntmen reacts videos guys. Have you ever considered getting Daniel Bernhardt to appear? Pretty sure Gui has worked with him in Civil War, and he's done a lot of the John Wick stunts 👌
I could spend all day watching your reactions to Drunken Dragon. It provides priceless entertainment.
Love these behind the scenes secrets 😎 Stunt crews and actors absolutely need to be more recognized in awards. You are awesome! Thanks Corridor for spotlighting these amazing people and being fans. P.S. ... Did Nico say Gandorf? 🤣🤣🤣
I’d love to see you guys combine animators and stuntmen react with the Kung Fu Panda movies
Enjoyed Cassandra's time. She has good energy and loves what she does.
I’d love to see you guys react to Moon Knight on the CGI department. I’m pretty sure the whole suit was computer generated some of the time.
Fantastic episode, and Gui was cracking me up so bad with the "HE'S IN A CANOE!" stuff, lmfao
That car hit scene really shows the importance of a good coordinator watching out for the safety of the crew
Cassandra is great! I know you have at least another episode with her. Can't wait!
I love when they ask stuntmen/women "How do you avoid getting hurt?" and than they reply "That's the neat part, you don't"
Thanks for introducing me to Drunken Dragon. Just finished watching the full movie on ELvids and it's amazing. Also happy to see a fellow Canadian on the couch and no obvious "eh" jokes. Thank you!
I want to congratulate Niko and Gui on their transition from stuntmen to stuntwomen
Cassandra Ebner was awesome and should absolutely be invited back, especially with Gui.
Storyblocks is one of the coolest sponsors I’ve seen on ELvids. It’s neat to learn about resources like that. I hope you guys get more industry-oriented sponsors!
I am glad to see another perspective on the show and I loved her in Life XP
Amazing young woman. Saw what she wanted and went for it and succeeded, knowledge, attitude and energy is all top notch. Congratulations...you made it girl.
Would love to see you guys react to Zhang Yimou’s House of Flying Daggers. So much interesting stunt work and some… ‘questionable’ VFX!
Love that Cassandra was the one really leading the discussion. Excellent epeisode!
I would love to see you have professional wrestlers come on to talk to you about wrestling spots and how much coordination goes into it while live in front of a crowd. Have Gui there so they can share notes on similarities of how it all works.
Cassandra is awesome! I’d love to see her on again!
After watching another vid of this epic series, honestly. One of my favourite series to watch on YT and this channel. But I remember getting so tired of it afterwards because you guys were just farming the content so hard during the peak of this series’ success that I had to stop watching. I went back and watched all of the episodes I missed in the end anyway and they were all so good. I think that is also the reason why the view count for this series dropped off. The pacing of the uploads for these videos are much nicer now and I think one things you guys can bring into your videos is the “hype” which shows a small clip of the next episode and get the viewer excited for more.
